We would like to say thank you for a wonderful Saturday with you.  The drive through the hinterland was absolutely magic.  The vast forest and water scenery that we covered made you feel like you were the only people on the planet.  Your knowledge of the area made for an interesting day.  Morning tea and lunch were fantastic and even though Jim was limited with what he could eat he was more than happy with our meals and your hospitality.  We both felt that at the end of the day we had made friends with like minded people and we would love to catch up with you both again real soon.

" On a nice Monday Geoff picked me up at my B&B with his 4wd for a beautiful day.  The nice thing of Get Lost is that you can arrange your own trip, you just decide whether you want an off road track or a rainforest walk, almost anything is possible.  I chose a rainforest trip with waterfalls and sightseeing. In the morning it was a little bit chilly but we did some great sightings because the sky was very clear.  At one certain spot you could even see Surfers Paradise.... Geoff found the perfect spot for morning coffee with cake.  After that we did a great walking track thru the rainforest and waterfalls.  Geoff told me about the beautiful trees and birds.  Then we went for a great picnic lunch which Geoff prepared at the table, chicken, salad, bread, fresh fruit, etc., all you want for a nice break in nature." (we were even visited by a large friendly goanna)

"All I can say is that I had a marvellous day with nice company and much inside information about nature and the Byron Bay surroundings. Geoff really did everything to make a perfect day for me.  We were home in time to catch the sunset from St Helena lookout."

4wd Driver Training and Caravan/Trailer Towing Tuition.

 

We would like to commend you for the manner in which you ran the two courses.  The presentation each morning was professional and when asked, explained in more detail.  The 4x4 practical session was very informative.  A very good bush course layout.

We both came away knowing what to do, should we come across similar situations.  Reversing the caravan now should be less stressful.

Tried a little reversing after lunch which was good, put the van where I wanted it to be.

4wd Driver Training

 

Hi Geoff & Karen
Many thanks for the 4WD Course last weekend.  We both feel that we

achieved and learnt a lot about what the vehicle could actually do

and how we go through the risk assessment process in 'real life'. 

There was a lot of action packed in to the 2 days and that combined with the varied activities gave us a well rounded appreciation of 4 wheel driving and what we can expect to undertake when out and about ourselves.

Your driving experience and good training ability was really appreciated - with you answering all of our questions, no matter how trivial they may have been at times. 

Your patience and encouragement was also what we believe brought us both through the course as a couple. 

We would have no hesitation in recommending this course to other people.

Our two day 4wd training course was well worth the money.  We had a great time and learnt more about our 4wd in two days than we had learnt in three years of ownership.  Geoff was very patient with us and allowed us time to catch our breath after achieving manoeuvres we never thought possible in a 4wd (us or the machine).
