Geoff Bailey is a tall skinny (not as skinny as he used to be) bloke that likes
to please.
He is married to Karen, his wife of 30 years, they have two grown sons and two grandsons.
Geoff and Karens passion is to enjoy the natural beauty of this vast land and to do so in an environmentally friendly way.
Living and working in the Ballina/Byron Bay area for the last sixteen years, operating a detailed excavation business for
eleven years, Geoff and Karen are well known and respected in the community.

Your guide and trainer is a dairy farmer from way back. Geoff's career since dairy farming has involved driving and operating machinery such as 4wd trucks used to spread fertiliser, trucks and semi trailers involved in the earthmoving industry and machinery such as excavators, backhoes and loaders.
Geoff was a member of the NZ Volunteer Fire Service for nine years prior to moving to Australia in 1989.
Geoff was a member of the Ballina NSW SES for seven years and spent five years as a NSW State Rescue Board Accredited operator.
Geoff and Karen owned and operated Bailey's Detailed Excavations, a small earthmoving business, for eleven years. Operating in the Ballina and Byron Bay areas.
Geoffs passion is enjoying the natural environment, in the out of the way places his 4wd gives him access to.
Geoff and Karen have recently returned from an extended outback journey taking in such places as Birdsville, Alice Springs, Cape York, Savannah Way, Top End, Kimberley Country, including Kalumbaru and Mitchell Plateau, Cape Leveque, Broome, Karajini NP and much much more. What an experience.
With the work and life experience Geoff has gained over 30 something years, his first hand knowledge of the local area and his outback experience make him the ideal tour guide and trainer.
